I’ve seen beautiful fast cars but I was amazed when I saw news about police cars. I can’t imagine how nice the police cars are now from different countries. Check this out.

•	Lamborghini Police Cars in London

The boys in blue no longer use BMW 535d patrol cars but instead they will be driving a four-wheel-drive and an Italian 6.5-litre V12 which is good for 211 mph and 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds.

•	Germany: Brabus CLS Rocket

This handsome car has 730hp from a twin turbo V12 and a top-speed of 225.19 mph. Currently, it is said to be the world’s fastest legal sedan.

•	Germany: Porsche 911 Carrera

The extensively modified Porsche 911 Carrera S by TechArt as a police car has 6 cylinder engine and 500 hp. It has over 186 mph and sprinting to 60 mph capability in just 4.6 seconds.

•	Austria: Porsche 911

Austrian police gets to drive this £65,000 supercar that can do up to 177 mph.

•	Italy: Lamborghini Gallardo

This beauty was donated by Lamborghini to the Italian Police last 2004. Its top speed is 190 mph and is powered by a 5 liter V10 with 500 hp. Italian Police actually purchased another one costing $166,000 after a year.

•	USA: Dodge Viper

Vipers are not made for comfort and technology but it is a combination of classic sports car, hot rods and muscle cars as well making it brutal and rude cars.

•	USA: Corvette C6

The sixth and most current generation of Chevrolet Corvette introduced last 2005. Has 6 liter LS2 V8 producing 400 hp.

•	USA: Hummer H2

A 700 hp Hummer is powered by 7 liter supercharged V8 just for the Sheriff of Texas.
•	UK: Lotus Exige

A high performance and very lightweight car accelerates from 0 to 60 faster than V8 cars. This only uses around 5 liters every 100 km.

•	Holland: Spyker C8 Spyder

A 406 hp V8 with a maximum speed of 186 mph has Lamborghini doors. An aluminum hand built, mid-engined sports car. It has aerodynamic effect and an electrically operated single hinge titling doors.

•	Lotus Esprit S4 of England

A 3.5 liter V8 car with engine in the middle and drive channeled to the rear wheels that provides the forward momentum. Esprit Lotus Police car is too good to overlook making it look like a publicity stunt to promote sales.

•	Mitsubishi Evo VIII

This is the deadliest and sharpest driving tool used by Police in UK. It has a 2 liter turbo engine with 275 bhp and bizarre system called the Super Active Yaw Control from Japan technology keeping it stable, grippy and balanced through the corners.

•	Holden VE Commodore

Released last 2007 and became the Wheels Car of the Year. It has 3.6 liter with V6 engine. It is also called the Chevrolet Lumina.

Don’t you want to ride these cool cars then why not apply to be a police!

I lived here in Texas all my life so I am very much familiar in the cities here. I love to travel a lot, and visit a lot of countries. I enjoy playing golf, and watching baseball. I hang out with my friends at the bars, at the clubhouse playing tennis, and sometimes at the casino. We play poker every Saturday night at my place. As far as I can remember, my parents and I traveled a lot and I have adapted their passion for traveling.

Vintage cars are thought of to be the cars that were made in the 1900s like around 1915 to 1950 or 1960 whatever you think is vintage is what you probably already have. So if you wanted to go to a car show then you might want to hook up with a car club and start either restoring your car or get a car that looks good and that you can get into a car club with at least.

That era when the vintage cars were made was when everything started to get put into cars like the radios and the a/c and all the stuff you see in cars today is what was in the vintage cars except they were vintage parts as well. That is why our cars of today look so much different from the cars of the vintage era. They are made from wood like the woody surf wagon or whatever it was called I know it was made out of some kinds of woods and it was a woody wagon is what they were called.

The reason why we have so many cars today is because there is such a high demand for them all over the world. That is the main reason why Ford grew to what it is today because they had everyone wanting to buy their cars. Once you develop a good reputation you are going to get a lot of people who want to buy cars from you. After you have all the people buying cars from you then you can start making ads and getting more and more people to buy your cars and that is what Henry ford did. He made fords and then spread out and made his name famous.

Even though in the great depression all was lost but the country over came and now Ford is a big name. That is why I think Ford is such a good company is because they made it through such a hard time and everyone didn’t think they would make it and they did. You see Fords all over the place when you are driving.

Most of the brands that were made back in the vintage era are still here today just in another style and not like they once were back in the day. Just because you do not see them selling the same vintage cars that you bought doesn’t mean that they are not around and still here. They are everywhere you just need to go to a car show to realize them. They are everywhere at car shows. Most of the cars that are going to be at a vintage car show are vintage cars.

A number of vintage cars still exist today and are not going to be extinct for awhile. That is why you are going to have car shows and car clubs for all the vintage cars because so many people still own there vintage cars from back in the day.

KPMG, a global network of professional firms providing audit, tax, and advisory, as well as accounting services has released the top three contenders for the third annual World Car of the Year (WCOTY) awards.

WCOTY is a program organized and conducted by renowned automotive journalists from all over the world. Jurors have completed the evaluation of eligible vehicles for the award last January. To be eligible for a World Car award, the contender had to be in production and sold in at least five countries on two continents during 2006. Each juror has been appointed by the World Car Steering Committee based in their expertise, experience, credibility, and influence in the automotive industry. Each juror typically drives and evaluates new vehicles on a regular basis as part of their professional work. From an initial entry list of 28 new vehicles from international automakers, the first round of voting was done to determine Top Ten World Car and World Performance Car finalists. The award is divided in three major categories including World Car of the Year, World Green Car, World Performance Car, World Design of the Year.

KPMG has recently announced the top three finalists for all categories. The winners of the 2007 World Car of the Year will be unveiled during a Press Preview at the forthcoming 2007 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) in April 5.

For the 2007 World Car of the Year, the top three finalists are the Audi TT, Lexus LS 460, MINI. The top three contenders for the 2007 World Performance Car award are Audi RS4, BMW 335i, and Porsche 911 Turbo.

For the 2007 World Green Car award, the vehicles should have to be all-new or revamped, in production, and like should be on sale in at least one major market during the year 2006. In addition, the vehicle should be equipped with green technology (including hybrid, bio fuel capable, hydrogen powered, etc.) and released as a production or a prototype model in quantities of 10 or more during 2006.

The BMW Hydrogen 7, Mercedes-Benz E320 Bluetec, and the Volkswagen Polo BlueMotion with VW parts similar to VW Rabbit parts was chosen by more than 40 jurors as the top three finalists for the 2007 World Green Car award.

For the 2007 World Car Design of the Year award, jurors selected the top three vehicles that are included in the finalists of the World Car of the Year award. The 2007 World Car Design of the Year top three finalists includes Audi TT, Citroen C4 Picasso, and Fiat Grande Punto.

If you are fortunate enough to be an owner of a kit car, then you also know that from day one you need kit car insurance. If you’re rebuilding your car, you will need kit car insurance from the first piece that’s shipped in to the last when it’s all assembled and beyond. There are insurance companies that will provide coverage every step of the way when it comes to kit cars. They have tailored made car insurance to cover your every need.

Such an insurance company can offer you a “goods in transit” kit car insurance policy to cover you collecting from the manufacturer through the building process and on the road. This is what makes them different than the general automobile insurance companies. They can provide coverage for those of you that have parts of your car waiting in your garage to be assembled providing you with peace of mind with this type of car insurance.

Of course owning a collector’s car is not always fun and games. Most of the kit car insurance policies stipulate that your collector’s car can only be driven 2500 miles in a year. This is where the kit car insurance differs from the general automobile insurance companies. Some of these general insurance companies will extend the mileage to 5000 miles a year depending on your needs. If you have a car show that is 2500 miles for a return trip that would mean you would have no mileage left for the rest of the year. Whereas if the mileage is doubled then you could take your car to the show and still have lots of mileage left for those quick trips you want to take.

Whether you are building your car or taking it out for it’s first spin you need kit car insurance to let you drive without worry. After all this is your baby and you have invested a lot of money into your dream car. So why not have it fully covered with car insurance? You will feel so much better as you drive down the road with all those eyes upon you admiring the piece of workmanship that you are driving.

If you’re building a kit car you need kit car insurance.

Speed, competition and an enthusiasm for real cars on race tracks: This is what street car racing is all about. But when engines start to rev and the flag waver takes their marks, only one thing radiates from the street car racing enthusiast: pure exhilaration.

Street car racing is irrefutably gaining popularity as a sport; and while it takes its roots from a simpler mode of automobile racing which began in France during the late nineteenth century, it has evolved into a prevalent pastime in countries across the world. The United States, Australia, Brazil, Japan and much of Europe - among countless others - currently rank street car racing as a highly competitive sport.

Traditionally a domain of large, American cars with big block high capacity engines, street car racing on proper race tracks, now thrives with various types of vehicles contending. Recent trends have been towards cars of a lighter frame and hence, greater ‘moveability’. That being said, the sport of street racing has taken many forms. Recent films like ‘The Fast And The Furious’ and ‘Initial D’ have publicised the thrill of ‘drifting’, while drag racing still remains the predominant form of street car racing.

In drag racing, participants start the race from either a ‘dig’ or a ‘roll’ - the first method involving a stationary bumper-to-bumper drag race line up, while the second involves an initial ‘moving’ lineup at about 50 mph. Either way, drag-racing vehicles range from everyday cars to custom ‘dragsters’ built specifically for the purpose of accelerating as fast as mechanically possible.

Different people take an interest in street car racing for many different reasons: some are fascinated by the looks or construction of the vehicles and the motors themselves, while others simply love the thrill of racing, either as a participant or a spectator. Whatever the motives, the street car racing community is a large one - and one which seems destined to grow.

While street racing is largely illegal in most parts of the world today, there are many legitimate motoring events around the world that provide modified street cars or standard road going production cars the opportunity to race against one another or against the clock in well organized events on specifically designed race tracks and which ensure all safety precautions are maintained and appropriate safe racing practices applied.

When it comes to accessing legitimate information on street car racing, today’s motoring enthusiasts have countless resources to turn to. Dotted around the internet there are various online motoring forums which function solely to cater for the motoring and street car racing community by indulging and informing this growing group of petrol heads with a variety of interesting features, from blogs and photos to news and information on upcoming events and appropriate racing environments. Information is also easily available regarding all track legal racing and motor clubs in local areas. True motor aficionados can also find information on the technical specifications of cars such as drivability, fuel-economy, on-track performance, engineering or frame design by consulting with other online specialists. With so many different online motoring groups catering for general as well as specific niche subjects, current car enthusiasts are able to connect with other like minded fans that are just as passionate about lean, mean motor vehicles as themselves.

So anyone tempted to get an eyeful of remarkably built vehicles or to experience the sheer thrill of speed and competition by ripping down the drag strip, the street car racing scene is sure to deliver; after all, when the flag comes into sight and the engine begins to rev, there’s no looking back; in fact, there is only one way to go; foot to the floor, full speed ahead.

Donating a car in favor of cause oriented groups is a great way to help many people who are experiencing difficulties in life. If you want to make a big difference in your life and in the lives of other people, then, the right decision is to make a car donation right now.

Car donation helps young people who belong to underprivileged communities attend schools and achieve their simple dreams in life. Through the efforts of people who want to change the direction of lives of young children, many are given new hope in what seems to be hopeless situations.

Definitely car donation as a means of raising needed funds is one perfect idea and a major factor to attain this goal.

Funds raised through car donation also help families affected by natural disasters like hurricanes and floods. Usually, communities which were affected by these disasters find it difficult to start over again. In this respect, cause-oriented groups and their collective efforts become the light that guides families in their quest to find the right way to make a new beginning.

Car donation and funds generated from it also help people with serious sickness. Funds are used to provide much needed medicine and food so that they can get better. Funds through car donation also provide temporary shelter to people caught in cross fire.

Your decision to donate your car to charity not only helps other people as it can also help you at a certain extent. You can get IRS tax deduction and you can also find a way to sell your used car. If you are going to purchase a new car, donating your used car will allow you to skip the bulk of paper works that is associated with selling used cars.

Car donation is not only limited to second hand cars that work. You can also donate your car that doesn’t work anymore. An auto donation company would be willing to tow it for you without paying any cent.

If you are interested, you can check various offers given by lots of companies engaging in car donation programs. They can easily be contacted online or by phone. These companies have their own websites so you will not have any problem if you want to ask them things about car donation.

Donating car for charity is something you should really consider when you are in the process of deciding where you should sell your used car. By donating your car to charity, you are actually giving new hope and life to people who have somehow lost the belief that there is still hope for everyone so long as we breathe.

Yes, you might loss some bucks in doing so but, remember there are things that money can’t purchase and one of these is the feeling that you have just saved another person’s life. Car donation program can really spell the difference that the world somehow needs in these trying times.

The world indeed can rely on people who have the desire to help in their simple and small way. So, come on… donate your used car today and make this world a better place to live in.

Ratan Tata. You probably do not recognize the name, but this successful business man from India stared the automobile industry dead in the eyes and could have broken numerous molds that have haunted the industry over the past decades. His automobile, officially named the Nano, is the world’s least expensive car. At roughly $2,500 dollars each it boasts a roughly 33 horsepower engine and a five seat arrangement that isn’t just hard to look at, but also hard to imagine the vehicle can achieve an upwards of 50 miles per gallon. The car was not designed to boast stylish looks or revolutionary technology, but rather the ultimate blend of efficiency to meet the consumer’s needs and wants in India.

India over the past several years has come to have over 300 million individuals in its middle class, roughly the population of the United States. This enormous middle class is looking for some of the same luxuries as those of western countries and they have been for a while. Tata has been crunching numbers ever since the conception of the vehicle and he is currently projecting sales of nearly one million Nanos each year.

What does this mean for India as a whole? Many believe a great deal of problems. India’s road infrastructure is already under enormous pressure and traffic jams in the country make traffic in the United States look minimal. When potentially supplying hundreds of thousands if not millions of the middle class vehicles, it will only place further strain on the system. On more of a global scale, scientists are playing out the worst case scenario of adding even more carbon emissions from a country that normally has kept to itself.

Reports that surfaced around 2005 estimated that Indian vehicles released about 219 million tons of carbon dioxide and with the rise of low-cost vehicles and continued economic expansion, that number is expected to reach at least 1,467 million tons around 2030. Many countries are beginning to worry about the global implications the enormous addition of cars will have, while others are supporting India. Many political leaders are keeping to the sidelines with the notion that India has an enormous population and is clearly becoming an economic power that will do what it wants.

On a different note, several countries, including the United States, are analyzing the effects that this small car will have on the economy of India. The United States has had a small but noticeable movement towards smaller cars using less gasoline; however, even though the Nano would most likely not suit American tastes, especially with the lack of a radio, trunk space, and speed, the smaller footprint and higher efficiency of smaller vehicles has benefits that no nation can look over.

It is up to the new Indian market and the new Nano vehicle to show the world what will happen when low income individuals from a relatively under-developed nation have the means to travel and commute just like that of more developed countries around the world.
